Star Wars Original Trilogy Documentary

In light of the recent developments with Disney purchasing Lucasfilm I figured this would be a fitting post. I just hope Lucasfilm didn't sellout to the Empire... I don't think Disney always follows the path of the Jedi :P

Super 8mm Footage From ‘Return of the Jedi’


This is some great footage of the Return of the Jedi film set in Buttercup Valley, CA! Funny enough a friend of mine also has some super8 footage from this shoot. Hopefully he'll get around to converting it to digital at some point. I'll keep nagging him heh heh

This 1983 PBS behind the scenes look at the creatures of 'Return of the Jedi' is an awesome glimpse into the ILM model shop during it's prime. There's lots of footage of work in progress puppets and stop-motion rigs from the film.
