History of Visual Effects 'The New Magicians'

 






This is a great documentary (made in the mid-80's) that covers some of the major milestones in VFX history. From the magic lantern, Metropolis, Melies, 2001, to Ellenshaw,  ILM, Apogee and Star Wars this film touches on them all. The resolution is pretty rough but it's still worth a look!
